I do not directly accept insurance, but I bill you through a platform called Thrizer. They automatically submit a claim for you after every session, and once your deductible is met you can expect 50-80% reimbursed for every appointment deposited directly into your bank account. They will work with you directly so you understand your benefits and how much your insurance will reimburse you for session fees. For more information, you can visit: thrizer.com/client/oonclaims

Starting out we will meet weekly. "This will allow us to build a strong foundation of trust and rapport, and gives us more space to get to know one another on your healing journey. Over time if you so desire, we can reduce our session frequency down to every other week in order to support your needs and goals.

How long someone is in therapy is specific to their needs and goals. Some clients find they meet their goals within a matter of months, while others continue to find therapy supportive for longer. Other clients go in and out of therapy to meet their needs in certain phases of life.
-
In our first session together, we will cover the logistics of getting started, and I will answer any questions you have about the process. Then you’ll be able to share your goals for our work together so I can have a sense of how to best support you. We will end the session by exploring what resources you have available to you during this process to encourage and support your healing further.

A Good Faith Estimate is a federally required form for patients and clients using self-pay. It shows the costs of items and services that are reasonably expected for your health care needs for an item or service. The estimate is based on information known at the time the estimate was created. The Good Faith Estimate does not include any unknown or unexpected costs that may arise during treatment. You could be charged more if complications or special circumstances occur. If this happens, federal law allows you to dispute (appeal) the bill. If you are billed for more than this Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the bill. You may contact the health care provider or facility listed to let them know the billed charges are higher than the Good Faith Estimate. You can ask them to update the bill to match the Good Faith Estimate, ask to negotiate the bill, or ask if there is financial assistance available.
You may also start a dispute resolution process with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). If you choose to use the dispute resolution process, you must start the dispute process within 120 calendar days (about 4 months) of the date on the original bill. There is a $25 fee to use the dispute process. If the agency reviewing your dispute agrees with you, you will have to pay the price on this Good Faith Estimate. If the agency disagrees with you and agrees with the health care provider or facility, you will have to pay the higher amount.
To learn more and get a form to start the process, go to www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call HHS at (800) 368-1019. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate or the dispute process, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call (800) 368-1019. Keep a copy of this Good Faith Estimate in a safe place or take pictures of it. You may need it if you are billed a higher amount.
